RESEARCH INTERESTS
Ajna Hamidovic, PharmD, MSCI incorporates randomized clinical trial (RTC), observational, genetic, and meta-analytic research methods to study  stress reactivity patterns in women with premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), and identify endocrine, autonomic, and behavioral trajectories across the menstrual cycle; both in women with PMDD and healthy controls. Additionally, she works on developing novel smoking cessation treatments and furthering our understanding of genetic, environmental, and behavioral factors that underlie substance use disorder.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Dr. Hamidovic’s teaches Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacotherapy, including major depressive disorder, anxiety, substance use disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and pain. She teaches undergraduate, graduate and professional pharmacy students in didactic and experiential settings.
